Excellent evening. I had already been here but I gave it another try before writing a review (the first time I was positively impressed).
Service tonight wasn't at the top: probably the young waiter wasn't well prepared but the risotto served was at least 8 out of 10 stars. Delicious. Orecchiette weren't that good: far too many empty mussels and the pecorino cheese over the pasta was way too aggressive for the mussels. Just to clear the hospital corners: I don't dislike cheese over fish but they didn't manage to handle the salt.
Overall I will give it 5 stars anyway for the amazing "risotto con scampi e succo d'arancia" (shrimps risotto with orange juice). Absolutely reasonable price: a main course, a dessert, water and a bottle of an honest white wine (La Scolca Gavi DOCG) for 33.5 euros.
Reservation strongly suggested.
I will surely come back again.
Good italian taste , especially pasta with fish
Very good place to stop off not far from motorway. Very good staff. Great food. Very clean and to top it off easy to park.
Nice food and friendly atmosphere although I'd say not for a romantic date as it's a bit cold. Loved the pizza and the complementary focaccia with any order.
Went there for lunch on a workday and enjoyed a very good main course with a tuna and aubergine pasta and a sea bass fillet.
Air conditioning added some relief from the midday heat and the service has been ok.
Held up one star for the cost that is higher that the average in the area... But I recommend trying this place!
